Alceis, is an acronym for Accompanying, Languages and Coaching Expatriates  Impatriates:
the whole range of the company’s activities is suggested by its name.

Alceis Global Nomads was founded in 2008 by Marielle Canova and Danielle Deffontaines. Succeeding in the human adventure of international mobility requires taking into account not only logistic and material aspects but also emotional and cultural dimensions.

Alceis Global Nomads aims to accompany its clients throughout the cycle of international mobility, considering the whole range of needs of both companies and managers. Marielle and Danielle pooled their professional and personal experience to propose practical and tangible offers, and facilitate global nomads’ integration. A team of experts have joined Alceis and contribute with their particular skills.

Responsable for relocation and training. Before founding Alceis in 2008, Marielle worked for a communication agency then an industrial company in HR, communication, and finally European lobbying in Brussels. She lived in several European countries not only for her own professional activity but also as partner of an expatriate. Graduate from IEP Paris, in private law (Paris 1) and contemporary history (Paris IV), she is co-author of a handbook on European law (Foucher publisher).

Relocation - Training

Responsible for mobility policy, coaching and intercultural. Before founding Alceis in 2008, Danielle has occupied a large number of management and Senior Executive positions in a global industrial company. She acquired a strong experience of transition and integration issues in international and multi-cultural situations. Graduate from Telecom Paris, she is a full member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, EMCC Accredited practitioner Coach, MBTI certified, and trained to Co-Development method SYSCODEV®. She coaches expatriates, impatriates, cross-cultural managers and teams.

Relocation consultant since 2008, Michèle has a deep knowledge of Paris and suburban towns, a strong experience of the real estate market as well as a real familiarity to the resources offered by this area. She is open minded, involved, and responsible, founding her work on human relation. Her ability to adapt to the impatriates needs, her professionalism in complex situations, and her professionalism are highly appreciated

Michèle de Duyver
Relocation Consultant

Born in Parisian surroundings, Nathalie lived in the United States, Great Britain and Israel. She speaks fluent English and German. Trained as a jurist, Nathalie has been consultant in relocation since 2009 after having been real estate agent in the western Parisian suburbs. She provides our clients with her knowledge in the real estate market, her experience of life in expatriation, her rigor and her efficiency.

Nathalie Andrieu
Relocation Consultant

Anthony holds a Master’s Degree in law. He is of Franco-British origin. He now specialises in professional and family immigration in France, after a ten year career in various law and consultancy firms and relocation companies.

Anthony also teaches Impatriation Law at a reputable further education establishment.

Anthony Pajot

Laure advises expatriates leaving to Asia/China, intervening in French as well as English. She facilitates conferences on international human relations in and intercultural management in Asia, in addition to teaching in several French Ecoles de Commerce and the ISPD in Belgium. Her 22 years of experience working in investment banking, in France and abroad, have allowed Laure to develop considerable expertise in high-level management, coaching of teams internationally, strategic analysis and the handling of projects in Asia. She contributes to the elaboration of new tools and works to promote intercultural management through specialised press, both in France and in Europe. She has an MBA from the ISG and a diploma from the Institute of Oriental Languages in Chinese, and has spent long periods of time in China and Japan.


Laure Dykstra
Asian Consultant

For over 30 years, Véronique works with Russia. Trained as a professional interpreter, she is certified by Global-Ease. She provides and delivers cross-cultural management trainings on Russia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine, as well as for impatriates to France, heightening their awareness of the French culture in a professional environment. She speaks French, English and Russian.

Graduate from Audencia (ESC Nantes) and in international business, Cécile has more than 10 years of experience in international sales and consulting in multicultural and multilingual contexts. She spent 4 years in Shanghaï and was responsible for the development and management of the « relocation » direction of Knight Frank. She accompanied numerous international companies and their expats. She talks and reads Chinese, and allies an excellent understanding of Chinese culture to excellent relations with the Chinese community in Paris.

Cécile Renault
Consultant for China
French and Parisian, graduated of Alliance Française de Paris and a specialization in communication (ISCOM Paris), Christel has 18 years of experience teaching FLE for adults of different nationalities. Her 17 years spent abroad (United States, Portugal, Belgium, Spain) have given her a great understanding of the challenges of expatriation. Back to Paris 4 years ago, she specialized in business French and enjoy teaching her own language with a human and multicultural dimension. Her pedagogy is entirely tailored to the professional requirements and needs of the learner.
Christel de Villepin
FFL Teacher

Engineer and Coach (DESU « Human Resources, Coaching », Paris 8), Nathalie is certified by the AEC-EMCC. Specialized in accompanying expatriates and their family, she is trained to Co-Development method SYSCODEV® as well as transaction analysis and Non-Violent Communication. She worked 17 years for IBM, as a Project manager, in marketing and human resources. She acquired a deep knowledge of business management and a significant experience in operational management, working many times in international and cross-cultural teams. She lived in Spain and in the UK. She coaches in French and English.

Nathalie Dumur

Sophie accompanies her customers on positioning issues, change management, relational strategy as well as elaboration of a professional project. She also animates workshops of change management in the context of international mobility. She was Vice-President of the Association Cafés d’Avenir. She worked 15 years in global groups. Trained to communication (CELSA), and to coaching (International Mozaik), she is a member of the European Coaching Association and is MBTI qualified. Sophie is also involved in an association helping Vietnamese orphans.

Sophie Mauriac

Dominique created our website, she develops and maintains it. She also designed Alceis Newsletter and trained the team.
